I teach big-ass intro micro classes at Virginia Tech.  After being a bit rusty in the beginning – and not knowing how to deal with 300+ students, it turns out that I really like the big classes.  I am slowly learning how to incorporate all the new technology that is out there.

I currently am using Aplia with the McEachern text and am using the iClicker for the first time this semester.

During grad school at UVA, I taught six sections of Principles of Micro and two sections of Principles of Macro.  I have also served as a teaching assistant for a wide variety of other courses including industrial organization, game theory, statistics, and intermediate micro.

My teaching interests include all levels of micro theory, game theory, industrial organization, international trade, and introductory macro.  Teaching brings me much joy and I feel that I am good at it (despite the review on ratevtteachers.com that claims that watching grass grow was more exciting than my lectures).  Here is a summary of the evaluations from the courses I taught at UVA.
